Want to welcome in more self acceptance and ease? And less self criticism and anxiety?
I want to tell you there is so much HOPE.
Welcome in a wider window of tolerance, less perfectionism and less overwhelm in parenting.
It is time to deepen our understanding of how our own childhood and family history turns up in the present moment. Parenting wakes our own childhood trauma and wounds up in new ways. It is time to shift the conversation around this, to provide new parents with training and information to make their journey’s more joyful and less jarring.
It is time to shift generational patterns, to embrace self compassion and to help new mothers (and fathers) learn that tending to their needs is essential, it is not selfish.
Now is the time to look at this, to adopt an expansive and loving view of ourselves and change the legacy our children (and inner children) receive.
I’m Cath
an Integrative Psychotherapist focused on supporting you to heal, welcome in your 'good-enough-ness' and create your own beautiful life. Childhood trauma, traumatic stress and experiences of not getting our needs met in childhood can leave a devastating legacy and it can feel challenging to shift this, particularly in parenting. We are all about the shift on this page. Start listening to 'Grow Yourself Up' on any podcast platform today.

Podcast Review:
Wonderful, thought provoking, validating & comforting
“I love your podcast & have listened avidly since happening across it. I’ve just listened to the episode on Matrescence with Lucy Jones. Oh my word, how this just encapsulates so much of my experience & how I feel about the culture we’re struggling to exist in as mothers. Thank you both for this profound conversation - have immediately sought out Lucy to read more of her work. Change is bubbling - I can feel it through coming across more like minded people like you 2 doing such great work. Thank you both for this gift of a podcast. 🙏🏼 If you’re thinking of listening to Cath, don’t hesitate!”
